As to China, they make the best fireworks (and have been doing so for over 1,200 years)

I find this post quite interesting. When you compare the reputation for producing "cheap" junk in Japan back in the day vs. China nowadays. The Japanese manufacturers improved their reputation with stereo components in the 1970s (?) I don't want to cast negative on China, but, was their anything in the way of consumer products that were worthwhile?

now it's made in China and filled with plastic pieces and you can die.....
