Luggage storage lockers at airports
In the U.S., these disappeared after the 1975 bombing at LaGuardia airport in New York City.

In the 1975 incident, the bomb was in a locker in the baggage claim area. Couldn't
lockers still be provided now, beyond the TSA checkpoint, the luggage having been scanned by then? Security issues aside, I guess that the need for lockers dropped as wheeled luggage gained in popularity; easier to just bring it along when dining or shopping prior to your flight.
