The Ohrbach's where my family shopped was in Cerritos which became a Fedco store if I remember correctly.

That is a truly great automotive museum. Across the street is a former May Co. store which is identical to two former Famous-Barr stores in St. Louis, which was the May Co.'s headquarters.

The LA-area Ohrbach's store @ Wilshire & Fairfax is now the Petersen Automotive Museum, well worth a visit if you like cars.

"....fashions by Ohrbach's...." They were also in the Los Angeles area.

My husband has a windbreaker with the famous Ohrbach's label in it.
