Droodles

Droodles (doodle/riddles) were simple line drawings with accompanying captions that
described or interpreted them, usually in a humorous way.  For example, this one had the
caption, "Ship arriving too late to save a drowning witch," or sometimes, "Mother pyramid
feeding her baby".
