I suspect that this is propaganda created by Deep Chicken and the great left/right wing conspiracy as a survival tactic. "So you like the way we taste? Why don't you eat that rattlesnake or frog's leg over there? Here, have some bleu cheese sauce."

To many people, rattlesnake, frog's legs, and Rocky Mountain oysters have a taste reminiscent of white chicken meat. I'm not sure when it started.
