I still use this one for ever so many things around my house. I shall never forget the ad when I was young. I loved seeing the 20 Mule Team when advertised on TV. We had no TV when I was young but the whole family would go to my grandparent's house and watch Death Valley Days. I think I enjoyed the 20 Mule Team Borax ad more than the program!
Borax was the only soap that would get my hands really clean because I grew up in a newspaper and newspapers use Printer's Ink which soaked into the pores! That and a stiff brush and plenty of hot water...oh, yes, and plenty of handlotion...
Right, Doot, "Death Valley Days" hosted by ... Ronald Reagan ... I mentioned this to him when I had the privilege of meeting him during the 1980 campaign and got that great and wonderful RR tilt of the head and smile when I told him that he had always been welcome at our house !
I remember Borax very well and used it a lot when I worked in my Dad's newspaper, The Liberty County Times, for it was the only cleaning soap that would take off the printer's ink and other such printing substances! It was good soap but you still had to use a stiff brush to clean your hands and scrub, scrub, scrub.
